Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), announces the opening soon of the Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship Program, which will take place in two stages.

Step 1 :

This stage lasts three weeks, from October 13, 2020 at noon, until November 3, 2020 at noon. During this period, Canadians and permanent residents who wish to sponsor their parents and grandparents will have the opportunity to submit an online sponsorship interest form.

Step 2 :

IRCC will randomly select potential sponsors and send them an invitation to apply. Applicants will have 60 days to submit their application.

A maximum of 10,000 applications will be accepted for processing for 2020.
